Survey of Repowered Baldwin Diesel Locomotives

The purpose of this survey is to illustrate the scale and scope of
Baldwin diesel locomotive repowering, i.e. how many and what models

For this survey repowering is taken to mean:
- the Baldwin prime mover (diesel engine) was replaced by one of a different manufacturer
- at least the original Baldwin frame was retained

Some Baldwins were repowered with a later version Baldwin prime mover, those are not covered in this survey
- see Elgin, Joliet & Eastern VO1000s for example
