Birmingham Southern - BSRR

In 1984 the Birmingham Southern (then owned by US Steel) inherited its Baldwins from the
US Steel Tennessee Coal & Iron Divison in Birmingham AL when it shut down its transportation
unit which had switched the Fairfield Works. The BSRR units were labed with an "X" meaning
that they were not to be used off site. [5]
