U.S.P&F 37 was originally built by Baldwin as an S8 calf, part of a cow-calf set for Oliver Iron Mining. The pair was build and painted as OIM #1216A&B but the formal order from OIM never materialized. The cow went to Armco Steel as #1201 and a cab was added to the calf and it was sold to U.S.P&F as #37. It was the last S8 to be shipped by Baldwin.
