US Steel Fairless Works Scrapline

"US Steel Fairless acquired 5 S8 cows and 6 S8 calves back in 1980 plus some other ex-OIM switchers.
Some were used for parts, some saw service. My shots were taken in 1983 when they were scrapping most
of the FM's and Baldwins. I was able to get shots of the scrapline with a 400mm and 200mm lens (as security
was VERY tight there) from a public road." - Tim Darnell

note: #313 is ex. McHugh Bros. lease unit
